I Jinxed It

The morning after I posted about the good news of our two dairy heifers being pregnant, one of them (Bunny) went into heat.  In other words….she’s not pregnant.  This means that one of two things happened: either we got a false positive blood test, or she was pregnant but then lost the calf.

When I saw that she was in heat that morning, I thought to myself “of course” because I had just announced that they were both pregnant!

Oh, well.  If at first you don’t succeed-try, try again.

We had her bred again, and will wait to find out if it took.
